Welcome to The Arête-Lair. A virtual Vampire haven. A haven to 2 vampires in particular. One you will see and maybe talk to, but the other?! You may (or may not) be lucky?? to catch a glimpes of. Just how big is The Arête-Lair? No one knows. Except the person who created it. That is something you will have to find out for yourself. As you enter each area, be sure to move your mouse over everything. Including the walls, ceilings and floors. You never know what you may find. Not all hotspots are obvious. However, when you do place your mouse on a link, be sure to read the status bar at the bottom of your browser.
When you see this particular scroll 
(there are numerous scrolls throughout the Lair *chuckle*), click on it before you click on anything else. Just a note here: This site uses about 3 to 4 different javascripts as an enhancement to the site. The aforementioned scroll is one of them. It pops open into its own little window so make sure you have your browser javascipt enabled and any popup window disabling programs turned off. This site does not suffer pop-up ads. Please remember that this site IS graphic intense, so let all images finish loading before you start wandering around.
